Jondu is an offline-first budget tracker. Privacy isn't a setting you switch on — it's how the app is built. Jondu does not require an account, does not have servers that receive your financial data, and does not track you. This policy explains what that means in practice.
No account: You don't sign up. There's no name, email, or password to give us.
No cloud: Your transactions, budgets, goals, and receipt photos are stored only in a private database on your device.
No tracking: Jondu contains no third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or behavioral trackers.
None on our side. Because Jondu is offline-first, the financial information you enter — income, expenses, bills, budgets, savings goals, accounts, notes, and receipt photos — never leaves your device and is never transmitted to us or any third party.
All of your data lives in a local database within the app's private storage. You remain in full control of it: you can export everything as CSV or PDF at any time, and you can erase it by using the in-app data wipe or by uninstalling the app.
Camera & Photos: Used only when you choose to attach a receipt photo to a transaction. The image is saved on your device and is never uploaded.
Notifications: Used to deliver local reminders such as bill due dates and spending-pace alerts. These are generated on your device, not pushed from a server.
Biometrics: If you enable the app lock, unlocking is handled by your device's own biometric system. Jondu never sees or stores your fingerprint or face data.
The app itself does not send your data to third parties. The app is distributed through the Google Play Store, which may collect its own installation and crash information under Google's privacy policy, independent of Jondu.
Jondu does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. As no data is collected or transmitted, the app poses no data-collection risk to younger users.
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app evolves. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised date above.
